The Saguaro is the latest hotel to breeze into Scottsdale, adding color and energy to Old Town, the Arts District and Civic Center Mall, all of which are easily accessible from the hotel. Inspired by the desert Southwest and the colors of Mexico, The Saguaro is undeniably bright, vibrant, and fun. Architects Peter Stamberg and Peter Aferiat carefully selected a palette of 12 vibrant tones found in native desert wildflowers to use as a color scheme throughout the hotel. They also designed the space between the hotel and public plaza next door for better flow.
The visual spectrum of the Sonoran Desert is on display throughout the Saguaro Hotel. Along with the room exteriors accented by the color of a native desert flower, the interior of the guest rooms are decorated in bold colors and furnished in contemporary and natural pieces made of wood and leather, including hand-crafted furnishings imported from Mexico.
All rooms feature flat screen, wall mounted 42” HDTVs, outdoor patios or step out balconies, soaking tubs and separate shower suites, work desks, stereo with iPod docking station, on-demand movies and music, and soaking tubs. Several rooms also feature views of Old Town and Civic Center Park. The hotel is home to one of the hottest new restaurants in town, Distrito, a modern Mexican restaurant and bar specializing in Mexico City street food specialties.
