A library as a sightseeing destination? Well, not every library has a rooftop pyramid or an eight-story atrium with intriguing chandeliers for visitors to marvel at. The library also figures into several local legends, like one that recalls a branding iron used to mark books, or the existence of "lizard people," a lost race said to have lived 5000 years ago in a subterranean settlement under the present-day library.
