What was formerly the Avia Napa re-opened as the Andaz Napa at the beginning of September 2012 with a swanky, Napa star-studed cocktail party and has upped its game as a sleek, urban boutique hotel. Following the trend of revitalization in downtown Napa, the hotel speaks to how cool the area has become.

Andaz is Hyatt's boutique brand, with hotels in about a dozen carefully selected locations around the world. In a place where there are so many quirky bed and breakfasts and local inns, sometimes it's comforting to have the consistency of a well-known name in the place that you're staying. The Andaz is no exception, and they do their thing well, with plush king-sized beds, crisp white linens, dark wood floors, comfy brown leather chairs and organic, Napa-style flourishes.
The Andaz Napa is well-situated in the middle of downtown Napa and provides a great home base for exploring the town. It's happily within walking distance to the Oxbow Public Market and the Hog Island Oyster Company, other delicious spots like La Esperanza Taco Truck, as well as nightlife spots like the Uptown Theater and Billco's.
