This fall, the desert is heating up after dark with the arrival of two sports bars. Whether you want to watch the game on your own flat screen TV in a private VIP booth or enjoy the playoffs while midriff-baring waitresses bring you a cold beer, Palm Springs has you covered.

October brought the much-anticipated reopening of the Tilted Kilt in Palm Desert. With new management, an updated menu and renovations worth $350,000, the Tilted Kilt is one of the hottest new spots to watch the game with a cold beer and a juicy burger. This Celtic eatery is known for its Hooters-esque Kilt Girls, whose uniform includes halter tops and--you guessed it--kilts. The remodeled restaurant also boasts 43 flat screen TVs, free WiFi and a rotating beer of the month selection.

October also brought a new name to a relatively new desert sports bar. The Stadium Club Sports Bistro, which made its desert debut in September 2012, is now known as the Stadium House. This sports bar offers an impressive 16-panel viewing screen in addition to dozens of flat screen TVs showing your favorite sports games. Plus, VIP booths with built-in flat screen TVs are also available, allowing you to see and hear the game up close.
