Do you go weak in the knees for a hearty plate of pasta with a class of crisp chardonnay? Or do you swoon for nights filled with sangria and flavorful tapas? Either way, you won't want to miss the new nightly specials at Clementine Gourmet Marketplace and Café in Palm Desert.
The Mediterranean-inspired café is launching two new themed nights this month: a Pasta and Wine Evening and Sexy Tapas and Sangria nights. Both will have your taste buds dancing in delight over these regional flavors the next time you're in Palm Springs.

Every Monday from 5–8 pm, Clementine will host its Pasta and Wine Evening. You’ll have full control of creating your own delectable plate with a host of fresh pasta options and house-made sauces like alfredo, pesto, marinara, Bolognese and burro e formaggio. You can also customize your plate with additions like chorizo, jumbo prawns, roasted garlic or fresh tomatoes. The Italian-inspired night includes fitting dessert options like tiramisu and cannoli, too, and a handful of hand-selected wines are available by the glass or bottle.
On Wednesday nights, Clementine draws inspiration from Spain’s fun and laidback vibe to create its weekly Sexy Tapas and Sangria night. From 5–8 pm, Clementine serves a host of small, flavorful plates and sangria, accompanied by Spanish music and a casual atmosphere.
The café also hosts new and fun events each month, keeping true to its Mediterranean theme. In October, for example, Clementine will host a Parisian Bistro Night on the 17th. The night will kick off with hor d’oeuvres and wine by Thomas Barton Reserve, followed by a three-course bistro-style dinner paired with Vouvray, Graves and Saint-Emilion wines.
Clementine will also transport its guests to the Andalucia region of Spain with its Evening in Spain event on October 19th. The night will include a three-course family style dinner with the region’s signature cuisine, with sangria and wine available, too.
The Palm Desert café is known for its focus on French, Italian and Spanish flavors. Clementine offers a little bit of everything, from brunch dishes like egg crepes to dozens of fresh deli salads and hot pressed paninis. The freshly baked croissants, breads and desserts in the patisserie are not to be missed, either.
Beyond the food, Clementine is also home to a marketplace selling everything from gourmet tapenade to Mediterranean blankets. After enjoying some of the desert’s best Mediterranean cuisine, you can take a piece of the Mediterranean home with you with a few selections from the marketplace.
