If you love to shop, then Palm Springs and the surrounding Coachella Valley won't be a disappointment to you. Even if you’ve previously explored shopping destinations like Westfield Palm Desert and Desert Hills Premium Outlets, you won’t want to miss the new stores awaiting eager shoppers here.
Westfield Palm Desert
The Coachella Valley’s premier indoor shopping center, Westfield Palm Desert has seen a number of new additions over the past year, starting with the addition of World Gym at the beginning of the year.

This full-service gym offers a variety of workout equipment, as well as classes for shoppers to get a quick workout in between retail therapy sessions.
Another welcome addition to Westfield Palm Desert is the new Sephora store inside of JCPenney, one of the mall’s longstanding anchor stores.
Just in time for summer, Westfield Palm Desert unveiled what may have been one of its most anticipated grand openings yet: the debut of H&M, the clothing retailer’s first location in the Coachella Valley. The doors officially opened in May, bringing 21,000 square feet of the latest men’s, women’s and children’s fashions to the desert.
The store continues to be one of the most popular in Westfield Palm Desert.
Summer also brought a newly renovated family play space to Westfield Palm Desert, perfect for families who want to let the little ones burn off some energy during a shopping excursion. The play area features a wildlife theme, with sculptures, touch screens and interactive activities.

Recently, the mall has also welcomed retailed Destination XL, which offers men’s big and tall clothing. September also saw the reopening of Hot Topic and the debut of Pink, a retail location for Victoria’s Secret’s popular Pink line.
Desert Hills Premium Outlets
Westfield Palm Desert isn’t the only local shopping destination with a wealth of new shops and attractions to check out, either.
About an hour outside the Coachella Valley, Desert Hills Premium Outlets is also keeping shoppers on their toes with the completion of its $100 million expansion.
In April, the discount designer shopping mecca unveiled 50 new stores, including Fendi, Alexander McQueen, La Perla and Max Mara.
The expansion also included a new 1,100-space parking garage and an In-N-Out Burger, making it easy for visitors to find a place to park the car, spend the day shopping their favorite brands and finish the day with a quintessentially California hamburger.
