The Hotel Zoso has undergone a major transformation over the summer, shutting down in June and emerging this October as the newest location for the iconic Hard Rock Hotel brand. The Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs is now one of the hottest hotels in the Coachella Valley, and it’s bringing a taste of the rock and roll lifestyle to the desert.

The hotel’s redesign took only a few short months, and it's now debuted as a completely different property than the Hotel Zoso. The Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs is fully decked out in its signature purple motif, with chic rock and roll decor that will have your inner rock star begging to come out and play.
The Sound of Your Stay program is the perfect complement to a stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs. Guests can have an electric guitar and amplifier delivered right to their rooms so they can rock out with in-room video lessons, thanks to the Picks program. Or you can have a personalized playlist created for you through the hotel’s Tracks program. Or you can play DJ during your stay with the Mix program, which will have a DJ controller, laptop and stereo system delivered to your room to keep you spinning all night long.

Of course, the Hard Rock just isn’t the Hard Rock without a collection of rock and roll memorabilia decking out the lobby, and the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs is no exception. Memorabilia is hand-selected from the Hard Rock’s “Rock Vault” in Florida, where more than 74,000 rock and roll items are stored.
Pieces you’ll find at the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs include a guitar signed by Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, an outfit worn to an Elton John ball by Lady Gaga, a corduroy jacket owned by Johnny Cash and a wool jacket worn by Frank Sinatra, who himself was a Palm Springs resident.
Other notable items include a custom-made guitar for Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, a fringe jacket owned by Jimi Hendrix, a leather jacket once worn by Elvis and a badge that the "King of Rock 'n' Roll" received from the Palm Springs Police Department.
Beyond the memorabilia, music fans will find plenty to keep them entertained at the Hard Rock Hotel. Goldenvoice, the production company behind the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival, has an exclusive agreement to arrange live talent at at the Hard Rock Hotel’s outdoor pool all year long.
