If a spa getaway is at the top of your list of summer must-dos, you’ll find plenty of ways to unwind with massages, facials and body treatments at Miramonte Resort’s spa this summer. Thanks to a new locally inspired treatment and plenty of summer specials, The Well Spa is where you’ll want to be as Palm Springs heats up this season.

A newcomer to the spa menu and a summer must-try is the Farm-to-Table Scrub, which embraces the same farm-to-table concept embraced at the resort’s onsite restaurant, The Grove Artisan Kitchen. A colorful spread of locally grown fruits and vegetables are displayed with sage, mint and other fragrant choices from the resort’s herb garden.
Spa guests are walked through the health benefits of all of the choices before choosing an herb, fruit and vegetable for their treatment.
As you make yourself comfortable in the treatment room, the therapist will blend your ingredients with your choice of raw sugar or sea salt to create the freshest scrub you’ve ever tried.
Before the freshly pureed concoction is massaged onto your skin, you’ll start your treatment with The Well Spa’s signature Stone of Intention ritual, in which you’ll find your mantra to focus on during the treatment. Spa guests reach into a bag filled with stones inscribed with words such as “Relax” or “Patience,” and the word on your chosen stone becomes your intention for the day.
The full-body scrub is a 45-minute treatment that concludes with a moisturizing coconut shea butter application. After your treatment, you can unwind in the eucalyptus steam room, hang out in the tranquil spa area or go for a swim in the private spa pool.

If you’d rather relax with a massage this summer, then don’t miss the spa's Map of the Body or Sticks and Stones treatments. The Map of the Body treatment heals the body and releases toxins through reflexology, while the Sticks and Stones treatment utilizes birch wood sticks and warm basalt stones to take your zen to the next level.
You won’t have to break the bank to treat yourself this summer, either. The Well Spa is offering special pricing through August 31 on the Summer Bliss massage - a 60-minute medium-pressure treatment - and the Summer Glow facial, which refreshes and nourishes the skin with organic products.
Visitors to Palm Springs can make a weekend out of it with the Miramonte’s summer spa getaway packages. The new Simply the Best package includes an overnight stay and 50-minute facial or massage, while the Spa-Ahh package pampers guests with a luxury room, estate or suite and a $150 spa credit.
Couples can take advantage of the Romance Package, which will help you and your loved one unwind with dinner at The Grove Artisan Kitchen, rose petal turndown service and two 60-minute spa treatments.
You can learn more about the Miramonte’s summer spa packages on the hotel website.
