Classic Club is undoubtedly one of the more high-end golf courses in the Palm Springs area, but it's well worth the price tag. Aside from the impeccable service, Classic Club is known for its Arnold Palmer-designed course that previously hosted the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. The tour-quality greens, 30 acres of water features, elevation changes and five tee box sets make this one of the desert's most challenging and fun courses. On a windy day, though, expect the difficulty factor to go through the roof. The views and service, though, are high-class throughout. Classic Club is managed by Troon Golf, which specializes in luxury courses.

- Golf Courses: "If it's a particularly windy day, opt for lunch at the clubhouse rather than fighting the wind on the course."
- Best for Golf Courses Because: Classic Club once hosted the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic on its Arnold Palmer-designed course.
