The success of Beaumont's Eatery in La Jolla's sleepy, seaside Bird Rock neighborhood is largely due to its versatility. During the day, it's a casual-yet-upscale community favorite where locals bring the kids, schedule business lunches and run into people they know.

While noshing on truffle fries, tri-color kale salads, La Jolla's best burger, carnitas tacos and more, it's hard to miss the cheery vibe. Maybe it's the newly-renovated, contemporary decor of rich colors and bright accents or the fact that everyone knows that the bartender, Gavin, mixes a mean specialty cocktail.
However, three nights a week, Beaumont's is the place to casually groove to live music, meet friends for a drink or three after the kids are in bed and decompress after a long week. For most devotees, this means just a quick walk from home, however, San Diegans come from all over now to enjoy the mellow vibe and good eats.
Dance if you like or sit at the bar and catch up with a friend. There's no pressure either way. Despite the affluent zip code, most people are casually-dressed though if you'd like to bust out that dress you never wear, feel free to. Like we said, versatility is what Beaumont's does best.
