Fashionistas in the know are raving about emma jane. The boutique opened last August in La Jolla following the success of the first location in Mission Hills. Owners and best friends, Jennifer and Jessica, clearly have a knack for fashion, design and elegance that is apparent immediately after setting foot inside the warm and welcoming boutique.
emma jane has enough selection to suit all ages and occasions from school drop-off to a night out on the town. It's the perfect place to go at times when you just don't know what to wear for a particular occasion. The boutique is also known for its top-notch customer service, a knack for styling customers and an excellent price point, especially in La Jolla.
Designers and labels include Hudson, Genetic Denim, Joe's Jeans, Talia Hancock, Sanctuary, Zola, 11. Fourteen, Kair and one-of-a kind jewelry pieces by Vanessa Mooney, Jenny Bird, Mimi Lu, Lush and Noni Love. emma jane is also proud to support local San Diego clothing and accessory designers.
The boutique has already hosted a number of in-store events with more on the way. Local media star Cindy Matalucci and local celebrity stylist Dean Hall chose emma jane as the location to film the very first episode of their new show Fashion Fixx (debuting in March 2014). Both Jennifer and Jessica make an on-camera appearance to share how their dream of owning a boutique came to life.

Jennifer and Jessica wanted a classic and beautiful name for their boutiques. Thanks to family, they picked emma jane, which is also the name of Jessica's niece who was born shortly before the opening of the Mission Hills store.
Even in temperate San Diego, locals rotate out sweaters and boots in exchange for warm weather wear. With spring on the horizon, we asked Jennifer and Jessica what their favorite spring trends are.
"We personally love all things fun flirty! We are absolutely loving the look-alike SJP [Sarah Jessica Parker] tulle skirt in pink, floral shift tops, palazzo pants and, of course, rompers . . . all of which are in our store," says Jennifer.
