Gary John, the owner of The Air Conditioned Lounge, stripped the new room down and started fresh.
"I believe we also have the only LED dance floor in all of San Diego," he enthuses. "I even added a private craft beer tap."

Bottle service in the private room assures that no one needs to leave the party to order cocktails, should beer not be their drink of choice. A specialty of the house includes mules served in traditional copper cups, such as the classic Moscow mule. Guests rave about friendly service at the bar, stiff drinks and the speed at which the bartenders deliver.
But to get groups moving on that light-up, touch-activated dance floor, live DJs spin tunes at the club every night. Music played at The Air Conditioned Lounge tries not to mimic the constant top 40 tracks favored by the bigger downtown San Diego clubs. From drum 'n’ bass, dub-step and different forms of house music, there’s a style for everyone.
"On Fridays and Saturdays, we have a lot of party rockers," says John.
