Although weather is almost always pleasant in the Bay Area, we do have our rainy season, and it's no fun being outside when the Pacific decides to throw her weight around. The following museums are located on Mission Street between New Montgomery and 4rth, a convenient two block area. They are also near public transportation; you can skip from museum to museum and not feel a drop.
Start with the MOMA, the flagship museum of every city.
