A short walk from AT&T Park, Local Tap SF (formerly Zeke's) just seems right for sports and beer. It's also a fantastic place to catch the game on one of 16 TVs, whether your passion is football, hockey, baseball, basketball, or more. Local Taps's food menu is a riot of pub fare, including great burgers and appetizers. Dartboards, pool tables, bar dice, and cribbage boards add to the fun, especially when televised games drag. Folks are incredibly friendly too, which is always a plus. Smart casual dress. If there's a Giants home game going on, be prepared for a fairly packed bar and service that makes take awhile.

- Sports Bars: "Inventive, above-average menu for a pub, especially the tasty Street Tacos with Carnitas, pineapple cabbage slaw, and tomatillo sauce."
- Best for Sports Bars Because: Local Tap is a good sports bar option if you're near the ballpark but want a place that's a little less expensive.
