As you embark on your journey to Niagara Falls, you may be focused on the amount of money you're going to spend for your stay. If you follow this guide, finances will be the least of your concerns. You'll be having too much inexpensive fun to worry about such things! So go on, pack up the car, throw on your seat belts, blast some tunes and get ready for a vacation to Niagara Falls on a dime.
The beauty of Niagara Falls is that the main sight you've come here for is FREE! If you're looking to avoid spending, there is no need to partake in a ride down by the Falls to feel the mist spraying you. So, once you arrive, make that all-important trip to see one of the natural wonders of the world. Stand there for as long as you want and take all the crazy pictures you can manage.
Then, just before you've exhausted yourselves standing there looking at the Falls and all its beauty, walk up Clifton Hill, pass all the highly over-priced restaurants and get a table at Antica Pizzeria. Antica's has been serving locals and tourists for years now, and certainly has created one of the best, and most reasonably priced, restaurants around The Hill.
Now that your stomachs are nice and full, get in the car, drive down The Parkway, check out the Floral Clock, then eventually make your way over to the Niagara Gorge. Hike through the gorge, go crazy taking photos of the Niagara River and just enjoy the beauty of nature. As you're hiking, you'll realize that you don't need any fancy tickets to a show or attraction to enjoy time here.
Following your trip hiking the Niagara Gorge, it's time to spend a wee bit of money. If you have kids, they are probably mesmerized with all of the flashiness of Clifton Hill. So, get them to pick just one wax museum or attraction on the hill and go in and have a little fun with it. By selecting one or two attractions on Clifton Hill, you certainly won't break the bank. One thing you should definitely try to do is go on the Niagara Skywheel; it truly is an amazing ride with a fantastic view.
Finally, just before you're all spent for the night, go down to the Falls once more to watch as they are illuminated, and dazzle in the brilliance of this city. Order in or enjoy a quaint dinner at Boston Pizza. End your day by tallying just how much money you saved; you'll be amazed at how little you have to spend to have a great day in Niagara Falls.
