The Falls — Photo courtesy of Sue WatersWith this list, you will truly experience all the perfect bliss Niagara Falls has to offer, in just one day. If you don't believe that you can't do all these things in one day, well take it from an expert Niagara Falls go-er, this can be done, and in fact, you will come out of this day having a huge appreciation for all the beauty Niagara Falls emulates.
Breakfast
Okay, so now for the good stuff, just how exactly are you going to pull off one day in Niagara Falls? Not to worry, first, you're going to wake up, and find a spot to dine at for breakfast. Most likely your hotel is in The Fallsview area or on or near Clifton Hill, and thus you have ample dining options awaiting you. To be quite honest, if you're looking for a quick fix head on over to Starbucks, which brews up an ever so delicious coffee. If you're one to fill up a plate or two at breakfast, venture on over to The Sheraton on The Falls', The Fallsview Restaurant, which has an expansive buffet, an a la carte menu and is perfect for all.
Maid of the Mist & Clifton Hill
After you filled your stomachs, head on over to The Maid of The Mist. As of course you are here to see Niagara Falls, and thus The Maid of The Mist is the perfect way to see Niagara Falls in all its glory. It's best to go in the mornings to this attraction, as the lines get pretty full during the middle of the day.
After you have taken picture upon picture of The Falls, head on up Clifton Hill, test your hand a game or two at The Canadian Midway, go on The SkyWheel, go into Ripley's or pop into a wax museum. Give yourself a couple of hours here, as if you have kids or are a kid at heart, you will want to see each and every one of the attractions on The Hill. If your stomach is growling, the best thing for you to do is grab a quick bite on The Hill, or at the top at Antica's Pizza. This joint is probably one of the best home-made pizza spots in the area.
Fallsview
Once you've seen all you can see on Clifton Hill, its time to venture off to The Fallsview area. This area is all about sophistication mixed with perfection. Head over to The Skylon Tower, ride up to the top, watch the 3D/4D "Legends of Niagara" Movie, and enjoy a little photo opp. The Skylon Tower is one of the most famous attractions: it's truly a must to see.
Late Afternoon Options
As dawn turns into dusk, its time for you to test your luck at a slot machine or two. Venture on over to The Fallsview Casino and see just how much you can win. If you're not one to gamble, not to worry, your day is hardly over. Check out all the boutiques The Fallsview Casino Resort has to offer, do a photo opt in the lounge, and marvel at the brilliance of the building.
Dinner & A Show
As dinner time rolls around, catch a show at The Fallsview Casino Resort and dine in one of the many restaurants there. Ponte Vecchio, an Italian Fine-Dining Restaurant is the perfect way to end off a long day of sightseeing. To top your day off, if you're here on a Friday or Sunday, head on down to The Falls once more to check out the fireworks display, it certainly is magical.
