Cascading from just over 270 feet (higher than Niagara), the Chute-Montmorency is a Québec favorite. A beautiful sight year-round, the falls reach their greatest splendor in the winter, when ice chutes begin to form. For the best shots, take a stroll across one of two suspension bridges that cross the Montmorency River. An aerial tram carries riders past the inspiring waterfall – just make sure you're sporting something you don't mind getting a bit wet. The tram travels from the parking lot to the Maison Montmorency, which boasts a visitor center, shopping and a restaurant. A bike path connects this park to Domaine de Maizerets. Parking $8.50/car.
