When Gotstyle opened its men’s clothing boutique in a second floor loft space on trendy King Street West in 2005, Toronto’s well-dressed gentlemen immediately took notice. Owner Melissa Austria designed the space to be a one-stop fashion experience for the urban male, with racks of designer clothing and stylish and modern off-the-rack suits, along with an in-house tailor creating made-to-measure suits and a barber shop offering cuts and luxurious hot towel shaves.
Years of increasing popularity led Gotstyle to relocate to a larger west-end space in 2011. Now, the brand is growing again, with the opening of a second Gotstyle in November 2012.
The new location in the east end Distillery District offers shoppers the same wide selection of designer men’s clothing from around the world – Japanese-inspired U.K. brand Superdry, Earnest Sewn jeans from New York, Bustle from Toronto and Ted Baker London, to name just a few. But with more space than Gotstyle’s original location, fashionable men will find even more choice in casual wear, business clothing and suits, as well as shoes, bags and other accessories.
Gotstyle is also rolling out Gotstyle Woman in its new Distillery location, which will offer a selection of clothing for the urban male’s fashionable female counterpart.
