SPiN Toronto, a 12,000-foot nightlife hot spot in the city’s downtown core, lets patrons test their skill at 12 ping pong tables while also enjoying cocktails from one of two bars and meals from a full-service restaurant. The club is marking the start of summer with the launch of a new cocktail menu, a variety of fun monthly events and free table time for patrons on Sundays.

Every Sunday until September, from noon to 4 p.m., walk-in customers can try their hand at the club’s ping pong tables for 30 minutes, based on availability. Additional time will be available at regular rates.

For those who take their table tennis really seriously, monthly round robin-style competitive tournaments offer the chance to battle for ping pong supremacy. The Aaron Beamish Classic, named in memory of a former SPiN Toronto employee, will take place on June 13, July 4 and August 1, from 6:30 to 11 p.m., welcoming players of all skill levels. The women’s tournament takes place one Friday each month this summer – June 29, July 27 and August 17, from 7 to 10:30 p.m. And the best players in Toronto can sign up for the Dirty Dozen tournaments nights on July 13, August 10 and August 31 from 7 to 11:30 p.m.

Whether playing ping pong or just observing, customers can always enjoy drinks from the bar. To celebrate summer, new cocktails added to the list include the cherry tomato daiquiri, pineapple julep and the iPunch, which includes smashed blackberries and pomegranate mixed with tequila and agave.
