VanDusen Botanical Gardens impeccably groomed grounds make it a hot spot for horticultural lovers, picnic enthusiasts, photographers, and those that are simply looking for a nice stroll amongst the flowers. What was once a golf course has since been transformed into 40 different gardens that each showcase various foliage and blooms. Not to mention, Vancouver's VanDusen holds the title of having the largest collection of rhododendrons in all of Canada. Adding to their already popular attraction, is afternoon tea served at Truffles Cafe, a charming spot that is open from 7am until 5pm.

You will be treated to three tiers of both sweet and savory items; think tea sandwiches, pastries, cookies and baked goods. Along with the three tiers, you will have a choice of about a dozen teas from Kelowna's own MoTeas. Tea for two is a very reasonable $28, while tea for four is $50. It's not uncommon to pay $25/person (at minimum) for afternoon tea in Vancouver, so this is a great deal. Afternoon tea will be served starting April 2nd, 2012 from 11am until 5pm, while extending slightly later in the evening during the summer months.
While you're enjoying your tea and nibbles, you will look over Livingstone Lake and the Woodland Garden. Pure bliss can be found here!
