The Fairmont Pacific Rim is a beautiful hotel in Vancouver's Coal Harbour, with spectacular views of the North Shore mountains. It's become a hot place to stay amongst celebrities and those with discerning taste. The Fairmont brand has been built on solid customer service, exquisite rooms, fabulous amenities, and five star designs.
Inside the large lobby you will find their on-site lounge, aptly called the Lobby Lounge. Early in the morning you will find people enjoying freshly brewed coffee and baked goods, while lunchtime brings in hungry guests to nosh on nibbles like sushi, creative salads, and other delectable delights. The evening is when the real magic happens and live music fills the elegant space.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim has paired with EMI Music, which is a very cool partnership because it means that they bring in some of Canada's best new and upcoming talent. They take their music very seriously at the Pacific Rim and even went as far as to buy a Fazioli piano, which is one of the finest you can own.
The artists sets generally start around 7pm or 8pm (depending on the day) and end around 11pm or midnight, with weekends being slightly longer. The genre of music also varies, which is an added delight because it keeps things fresh and appeals to different tastes. Regardless of the night, you can be sure that the artist will be talented, the food will be delicious, and the drinks will flow. You may download their monthly music schedule on the Fairmont Pacific Rim's website.
