Weddings are beautiful. They can be crazy busy, they're filled with so much fun and love, and when it's all said and done, you'll be beaming from ear-to-ear. After all of your hard work getting the wedding ready, you'll definitely deserve a break.

If you love swanky hotels, spa treatments, excellent food and crafted cocktails in the buzz of a bustling city, an urban honeymoon will be right up your alley. Here in Vancouver, the Four Seasons Hotel is the perfect oasis in the city to enjoy post-wedded joy.

From swoon-worthy beds and a serene spa to fine dining and delicious cocktails, the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver has got it all under one roof. If you don't want to leave, you definitely don't have to – there's no judgement here!

When it comes to comfort, let's be real – a good bed is key. This luxury property makes sure that each bed is equipped with an incredible mattress, a down duvet and down pillows so that guests can have the most dreamy sleep.

If you can splurge on getting a suite, do it. Having a separate sitting area to relax is an added bonus if you're there for a few days. Tip: If you let them know it's your honeymoon when booking your room, you may just find a sweet treat waiting for you.

Continue riding the bliss-train and head to the fifth floor where you'll find the hotel's spa, RedCedar. This exclusive spa has two treatment rooms, making it a very private experience for you two. There's something romantic about the connectedness of a couples massage, and the RedCedar Boutique Massage Suite is where it's at.

Soak up the calming music, dim lighting and relaxing aromas as you feel your body drift off into a dream-like state. After your massage, you're welcome to have a snack in the lounge to continue relaxing a little while longer.

When your muscles have finished getting pampered, enjoy a swim in the indoor-outdoor heated pool – it's the only one in the city. There's also a men's and women's sauna and a whirlpool.

During the warmer months, the outdoor terrace is a lovely spot to soak up the sun in between taking dips in the pool. If you're feeling energized, sweat it out at Club Four, the hotel's full-service gym.

Now, one of the best things about getting married is the pampering that happens on the day of. If you find yourself wistful to have a little slice of that again, treat yourself to an appointment at Blo Blow Dry Bar at the Four Seasons – your hair will be on point for dinner.

Speaking of dinner, the hotel's restaurant, YEW seafood + bar is one of Vancouver's best restaurants and it's open throughout the day. In the evening, it provides the perfect setting for a romantic meal.

Start (or end) your night at YEW bar and enjoy one of their craft cocktails before tucking into Chef Ned Bell's delicious seafood-centric menu. After wining and dining, having your room a short elevator ride away is a welcome commute.

When the morning comes, wrap yourself in a plush bathrobe, brew a cup of coffee and use the Four Seasons app to order room service and breakfast will be served before long. As you slowly rise, enjoy the beautiful view from your room and begin to plan your day.

Whether you're looking to go shopping, check out Stanley Park, go skiing on local mountains or take an amble along the Seawall – the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver is right in the middle of everything. Literally.

If your honeymoon checklist includes fine dining, pampering galore, a heated pool, luxury accommodations and plenty to do, the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver ticks all of those boxes and is an excellent place for an urban honeymoon.
