Alberni Street in Vancouver and its neighboring streets are home to high-end labels like Hermes, Wolford, Coach, Burberry and Gucci, to name a few. And Vancouverites can expect even more of these luxury stores to pop up in the next little while. The Carlyle, a retail development, has been in the works on Alberni, and the first two brands have opened up their doors, while others are likely not far behind.
Tory Burch has been satisfying fashionable women for many years now, and fashionable Vancouverites now don't have to travel far to get their fix. This popular brand has recently opened their third store in Canada, located on the luxurious Alberni Street.
The familiar orange lacquer doors make the store hard to miss. Step inside this two-level fashionista paradise, and prepare to swoon. The shoe selection this location has is excellent! Make your way across the white-washed oak floors, and explore the lovely clothes, handbags and accessories.
When your feet grow too weary, take a load off and cozy into the teal velvet sofa. Shopping with men? They will be very grateful for the inviting seating in the store. While you're there, you can also stock up on some Estée Lauder makeup, as the store will be carrying the brand.

Neighboring Tory Burch is a well-known, high-end diamond store: De Beers. Taking up about 3000 square feet and two levels, the store certainly has no shortage of choices when it comes to choosing the perfect diamond. Whether you're looking for a new set of earrings, a dazzling necklace or an engagement ring that will wow the socks off of your future wife, De Beers is a solid place to go. With more than 125 years of experience, De Beers knows a thing or two about how to choose, cut and design jewelry, so you're in good hands. Just be sure to bring your credit card.
After a day of shopping on nearby Robson Street and Alberni, satisfy your appetite at one of the restaurants along Alberni Street. Joe Fortes Restaurant is great any time of day, but their happy hour is a deal that can't be missed. Coast, Italian Kitchen, Pink Elephant and Black & Blue are also not far from Tory Burch and De Beers.
With two more retail spaces available at The Carlyle, only time will tell which luxury brands will pop up in one of these spaces.
