Vancouver's Grouse Mountain is home to a host of fun things to do and Grouse Mountain Ziplines is perhaps one of the most adrenaline-producing attractions on the mountain. Make your way through the old growth forests and get harnessed up to zip through the peaks and canyons of Grouse and Dam Mountains. The views you get from Grouse are amazing on almost any day, but when you're soaring high above the ground it gives you a totally different perspective and you will momentarily get a bird's eye view.
It's a dual-line, five-line circuit that can be booked as a group or individual. The tour itself lasts for about two hours and the guides will fill you in on a number of insightful stories and interesting facts about Grouse Mountain. The three-line circuit is open late fall through spring, while the five-line is dependent on the weather. After you're strapped in and ready to go, be prepared to reach speeds of up to 80km per hour while you're 70m/200ft high off the ground, and try to take in as much as you can because the experience will fly by.
While you're on Grouse, take advantage of the Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife that's in close proximity and acquaint yourself with Coola and Grinder, the resident Grizzlies. They also have owls, wolves and hummingbirds at the refuge and rangers give talks to educate people on all the different animals that call this place home.
