From B.B. King to Stephen King, Chautauqua Auditorium of Boulder plays host to a wide variety of entertainers and shows. In one season alone, you could purchase a ticket to Old Crow Medicine Show, rock-climbing and dancing phenomenon AscenDance and enjoy their Authors Series, where famous and inspiring authors take the stage.
Furthermore, Chautauqua also plays host to the Space Series, a collection of films that will expand your mind as you watch the universe expand and be explained on screen.
For music fans, there's literally no limit to the genres to be experienced when you visit the auditorium: folk-rock, bluegrass, hip-hop, jazz and a slew of others are represented each season.

But who can visit this gateway to the outdoors without taking advantage of the amazing hikes nearby? Luckily, with Theater Hikes, you can get your hike on and enjoy the arts all at the same time. Family-friendly plays unfold before the hikers' eyes as they wind down the park's paths, just outside the auditorium.
Another bit of the arts that makes this auditorium so special is its love for both silent and black-and-white film. At various times throughout the year, you can purchase a cheap ticket and be delighted by these films on the big screen. At times, the silent films are even accompanied by a pianist. Great for a rainy evening or date night!
