New York strip, bone-in ribeye and Porter House– are among the choices for steak lovers, in variations including Oscar, gorgonzola and Diane. There's also slow-roasted prime rib and a prime sirloin salad in case you want a lighter entrée, as well as a whole slew of non-beef options, from salmon to pork chops, burgers and chicken. A nice selection of beer is brewed onsite: lagers, ales, stouts, as well as some barrel-aged specialty brews such as bourbon-barrel stout. Excellent lunch and brunch menus and a tavern menu are also available, and there's a nice selection of desserts and after-dinner cognacs and ports. Not to worry if you prefer your steak with wine: Denver Chophouse has an extensive wine list, too.

EXPERT TIPS BY:

- Steakhouses: "Can't decide on a brew? Ask for a beer sampler (preferably before dinner rush) and receive 11 or 12 four-ounce tasters."
- Best for Steakhouses Because: It focuses on steaks and chops and brews a nice selection of beers onsite to go with them, close to Coors Field and downtown.
