A private 18-hole golf course in south Denver, the 18-hole Colorado Golf Club opened in 2007 to international acclaim debuting its 7604 yards from the longest tees with a slope rating of 144 and a 75.1 USGA rating. Designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, the course is set on 1,700 acres of rugged foothills, ponderosa pines, open meadows and dry washes featuring 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. . In 2010, Colorado Golf Club hosted the 71st Senior PGA Championship, and in August 2013, the course will test the top women golfers from the U.S. and Europe during The Solheim Cup matches.
