About Prague Nightlife
Nightlife in Prague is fun, relaxed and safe. Gigs are set up most nights in clubs and discos scattered across Nove Mesto, the New Town, and Stare Mesto, the Old Town. But, if you want to mix with the locals, head for the Vinohrady and Holesovice districts. Large venues are held at the O2Arena in the Cerny Most district. If it is culture you are after, be sure to go to Narodni Divadlo, the National Theater, for a ballet or opera performance. Cafes are open late into the night and a popular hang-out for sophisticated wine and (herbal) tea drinkers. Late night haunts such as Bombay Bar, Bar and Books and Kozicka Bar are popular with ex-pats, Czechs and tourists who don't object to paying top prices.
