Few automobiles have attracted the amount of attention that the luxury Tesla Model S car has over the past decade.
But who wouldn't be excited about this car? Its features include autopilot with radar, forward-looking camera, 360-degree sonar sensors and two motors to help better control the vehicle and increase efficiency. It's a car most of us can only dream of ever driving – until now.
As a part of their Electrifying Getaway deal, Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C., will let guests borrow a Tesla Model S for the duration of their stay. Can you imagine driving around some of the most famous sites in the nation's capital in this car?

Valid from Sept. 8 to Dec. 15, 2015, this deal includes a one-night stay in a signature suite or the Tai Pan Club room; a signature revitalizing rituals journey treatment at the on-site spa; and access to the Tai Pan Club lounge for breakfast and a cocktail plus hors d'oeuvers reception.
Oh, and did we mention the car?
Before getting the car keys, you'll have to go through an orientation put on by a Telsa product specialist. (Makes sense. You don't want to have a hot car and not know how to drive it!) Your session will be booked when a guest relations employee calls before your arrival.
With a breathtaking view of the Tidal Basin, this luxury hotel is within walking distance to the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument.
In its 347 rooms and 53 suites, the décor blends oriental elegance with a traditional American style décor.
When you aren't relaxing in your room, go to the spa and wellness facility, featuring eight treatment rooms, a zen relaxation area and sauna.
Take a dip in the 50-foot indoor swimming pool, walk through a small on-site gallery with rotating exhibits or participate in a private yoga class.

A renovation to the hotel's Empress Lounge terrace was completed earlier this year to allow for additional seating and exclusive menu options.
After a long day of sightseeing or business travel, guests may relax on comfortable couches by a large fire pit and dine on seasonal and outdoor favorites like s'mores and bubbles paired with grilled peaches and goat cheese.
Because there's only one Tesla available to hotel guests, a maximum two-night stay is allowed, and late checkout isn't available.
The lure of driving a Tesla may entice you to stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington, D.C., but you will find so much more to enjoy there once you arrive.
