If there’s one established night spot that is nearly legendary, it’s Georgie’s Alibi. With three locations, St. Petersburg, Florida, Palm Springs, California and the south Florida location which is tucked away in the always happening Wilton Manors, Fort Lauderdale's predominately gay district, this popular spot is most notably known as a gay establishment, but Georgie’s is so much more. Stop by anytime and you’ll see that it has its share of the straight crowd as well. Its atmosphere is absolutely electric with its two bar areas and a lounge with cozy and intimate seating, as well as tables lined up outside for exciting people-watching and to enjoy the famous and always wonderful South Florida weather. An outdoor dining area is always hopping, and it's a great place to join friends and family.

The 2010 and 2011 accolade for the Best Hamburger in Fort Lauderdale is reason enough to stop by. These hamburgers are famous for a reason. Patrons know quality when they see it, and Georgie's uses only the best and freshest ingredients. But not only that, Georgie’s has a recently updated full menu of great sandwiches and salads that are enough for a meal in themselves. This is a great place to stop for lunch or even dinner and get ahead of the crowd that's sure to show up soon. There's plenty of parking if you show up ahead of the crowd.
Georgie’s is clearly a celebration of diversity at its very best. It's the right place. The right time.
