A historic Captiva Island property and a longtime favorite of multiple generations, Tween Waters Inn and Resort stretches from beach to bay with basic rooms and historic cottages. There's no need to leave this resort as it has beaches, restaurants, bars, entertainment, tennis courts, a spa, and a pool big enough to accommodate not only resort guests but also locals who often arrive by boat to drink and dine. The Crow's nest host live entertainment while the Old Captiva House bumps dining up--several notches. The beach is a short stroll across the islands main road, but traffic almost always moves slowly, as driver's strain to see the blue water and bright white sand of the hotel's beach. It's a fabulous spot to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
