Adored by locals in Fort Myers, this largely Hispanic flea market is the oldest and most distinctive market in Southwest Florida. While Ortiz Avenue's nearly 600 indoor and outdoor vendors sell everything from beach towels and clothing to luggage and musical instruments, the market's most cherished offerings are its superb, amazingly priced fresh local produce, including tomatoes, avocados, strawberries, peppers and melons, as well as its fresh-off-the-boat seafood. The snack bar serves tasty treats, too.
