Live the Life of Luxury at Hotels in Fort Myers

Every traveler has specifications when selecting a hotel. All some people want or need is a clean bed in a central location. But certain occasions and preferences lend themselves to indulgence.

Many of these resorts are on the water or have water views. An aquatic ambiance certainly plays a roll in the feeling of luxury, especially at sunset.

Take for instance South Seas Island Resort, it takes up the entire northern tip of Captiva Island with extravagant beach cottages and condos that are bigger than the personal homes of some guests. Resort chef's will even personally cook lavish meals in your private kitchen.

The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa has a fabulous 1700 square foot luxury suite with eight balconies, each granting incredible views of preserves and water. The features are fabulous with a claw foot tub and a TV inside the bathroom mirror.

Then there is the Captiva Island Inn with it's individual cottages and honeymoon suite which takes up the entire top floor of the expansive guest house.

While not every room in the hotels featured here may qualify as luxurious by your definition, all have some that fit the bill. In addition all have concierge services that will do all that they can to make your decadent desire a reality.

These nostalgic one bedroom accommodations feature screened in lanais, surrounded by sea grapes and native vegetation as well as full kitchens and other amenities. There's no need to ever leave this resort: it has beaches, restaurants, bars, entertainment, tennis courts, a spa, and a pool big enough to accommodate not only the guests but the locals who often arrive by boat to drink and dine. The beach is a short stroll across the islands main road, but traffic almost always moves slowly, as driver's strain to see the blue water and bright white sand.
