The Isle Style Salon melts customers' worries away and reminds them what vacation is all about: relaxation. Although the salon and boutique clothing store opened in 2004, it expanded in 2011 and now offers affordable spa treatments by talented professionals.Isle Style Salon Entrance — Photo courtesy of Istle Style Salon
Choose from deep tissue, Swedish, and neuromuscular massages, as well as other methods like reflexology (applying pressure on reflex areas), Reiki techniques to increase positive energy flow, and skin treatments (including a gentleman’s facial). The spa may not be as elaborate as the luxurious hotels nearby, but the staff is very accommodating and can ease away those aches and pains. The tropical, laid-back vibe of the spa puts visitors at ease, and exfoliating scrubs are made from scratch.
In the front of the shop is a boutique, boho-style clothing store with new arrivals constantly appearing on shelves and racks. The store also sells a number of quality hair and skin-care products and out the back door is a peaceful garden.
If you are thinking about getting dolled up for an evening out in Key West, the salon offers manicures, pedicures, and stylish haircuts, and is frequented by brides-to-be that are planning an island “I do.” After your shopping/spa treatment/haircut is finished, just next door is Camille’s restaurant – another local spot that’s off the tourist trail.
