Miami Dadeland Hotel: A Beacon of Hospitality

Enjoy comfortable rooms and contemporary amenities at this chic boutique hotel

When contemplating a visit to Miami, most people think of staying at a beach-front hotel on SoBe or a luxury suite downtown. This is great for some folks. But for others looking for a great stay at a more affordable rate (or hoping to see more of the "real" Miami), these are not the best options.

Deep in the heart of Miami-Dade County, there's one place that's perfect for those looking for something slightly off the beaten path, yet still close enough to the action that makes the "Magic City" so, well, magical.

Miami Dadeland Hotel is the type of hotel that sets the bar for hospitality. Formerly Hotel Indigo, the newly renovated boutique is as comfortable as it is stylish, with an impeccable staff and a choice location that puts it just 15 minutes away from most of Miami's major attractions.

The hotel is located right off Kendall Drive and not far from US-1, where it intersects with major highways to get you anywhere you need to go.

There are restaurants and shops within walking distance, and a complimentary hotel shuttle can get you anyplace within three miles, including the Metro Rail, the city's only transit line.

Park your car (for free) in their lot, and check in with ease with one of their front desk clerks. Then have them show you the way to the place you'll be calling home for the next day or week or month. And we say month because you could literally stay in one of their rooms long term and still be perfectly at ease; they're just that good.

Step inside one of their 120 rooms, and take a load off while putting your feet up on their in-room couch. Watch some TV, which includes free cable and free HBO. Yes, that means you won't ever have to miss an episode of Game of Thrones while staying here.

While you're at the hotel, feel free to order up some room service from the restaurant downstairs. Or if you feel like bringing your own goodies, call the front desk and they'll be happy to provide a mini-fridge for your room.

Other great perks of staying at Miami Dadeland Hotel include their spa-like shower with Aveda bath products and an iPod dock.

This hotel is popular with business travelers, thanks to its close proximity to the airport, its in-room executive desk, a safe large enough for a 17-inch laptop and their Keurig coffee and tea machine, not to mention their 24-hour business center.

It's also a top choice for those visiting the nearby University of Miami or South Miami Baptist Hospital, the latter for which they offer a special rate to make your stay less stressful.

For those wanting to enjoy Miami's year-round sun, the outdoor pool is the perfect place to work on your tan or swim some laps. Or call for a cab, and you can be at the beach in less than 20 minutes.

Between the great service, the unbeatable prices; the choice location (just a few blocks from downtown Dadeland and South Miami's ever-popular Shops at Sunset Place); and the pleasant accommodations, booking a room at Miami Dadeland Hotel is a no-brainer.

If you're looking for a place to stay that's top-notch without being too pricey, you can't go wrong with Miami Dadeland Hotel.
