Miami isn't skint on dining options. But a romantic spot where you'll have a meal prepared just for you is certainly hard to find. Hidden away within a simple shopping strip off Coral Way, though, you can discover the perfect place to take a special date that will leave you both sublimely satisfied.
The spot is Romeo's Cafe, a one-of-a-kind dining experience in the heart of Shenandoah. The quaint and cozy dining rooms (There are two: the Main dining room and the Juliette.) are reminiscent of the small, specialized eateries of Europe.
This restaurant's perfect for a couple looking to escape the usual chain restaurants of the city.

Romeo's Cafe is special for a number of reasons. For one, there is no set menu. Instead, Chef Romeo Majano visits each and every table, asking his patrons what their culinary likes and dislikes are, and if they have any food allergies or restrictions.
From there, he returns to his kitchen to prepare exactly the right meal for your palate and preferences.
Majano's specialties lie within Northern Italian cuisine, so don't expect a Cuban sandwich or a Thai curry to be part of your meal. What you might get, though, could include anything from seafood risotto to fettuccine with rabbit to filet mignon or even stuffed pear ravioli . . . The list goes on.
The best part is that all the food is fresh, made to order and delicious.

Guests of Romeo's Cafe do have a number of options when it comes to what they want out of their experience. There are three lunches available: an Executive Lunch at $20, a three-course lunch for $35 and a four-course lunch for $45. Romeo's also offers two types of dinner choices: a four-course dinner for $60 or the ultimate six-course dinner for $90 per person.
Once the chef has taken your requests, it may take some time to get your meal squared away. But that's okay, because this is the type of place you want to relax in, and maybe get in some quality conversation over a glass (or maybe a bottle) of wine.
Your attentive server will bring bread to the table while you wait. But when your meal begins, expect reasonable servings of some of the most savory and succulent foods you've ever had. While portions aren't huge, they are just large enough. And they're spaced out enough between courses, so that you're sure to feel perfectly satisfied by the end of your meal.
Desserts at Romeo's Cafe are also a must. From chocolate soufflé to tiramisu, each delectable delicacy is made in house and tastes like a little bit of heaven. Follow with some port for the ultimate indulgence.
