The Innisbrook Copperhead Golf Course is a favorite among PGA TOUR professionals and is the most recognizable of Innisbrook's four Tampa, Florida courses. It's best known as the host course of the world's greatest golfers during the PGA TOUR's annual visit to the resort for the Valspar Championship. At 7,200 yards, it's a lengthy challenge for even the longest hitters who strive to stay within the pine tree-lined fairways over the rolling terrain that define the course.
The natural beauty and challenges, are the result of the surrounding lakes and ponds which are home to abundant wildlife, including fox squirrels, bald eagles, alligators, blue herons, and many other types of waterfowl.
The greens are planted with TifEagle Bermuda Grass – an exceptional putting surface favored by PGA TOUR professionals.
As an Innisbrook guest, not only can you play Copperhead, where the world's finest professionals love to play, you can also take advantage of the three other championship layouts featuring up to 70 feet of elevation change, and terrain more reminiscent of the Carolina sand hills and Georgia foothills than the typical Florida tracks.
All four Innisbrook Resort courses were designed by the innovative and imaginative architect, Lawrence Packard. Recommendations include Golf Magazine's "Top 100 You Can Play," and Golf Digest's "Top 75 Golf Resorts in America".
