Armature Works

A combination of a contemporary chef-driven eateries, a public market and event spaces sitting alongside co-working ones, Armature Works is a fully restored mixed-use building sitting on the Hillsborough River. Re-imagined as a premier community destination for both tourists and locals alike, Armature Works housed in a 22,000 square-foot industrial space - a former transit barn housing streetcars dating from 1910 - is a true foodie destination. Wine tastings, cooking classes and pop-up dinners make good use of the open floor plan with communal seating surrounded by restaurants showcasing the creations from new top chefs and restaurateurs. Shoppers and other visitors can check out contemporary art works by renowned artists or drop into a Job Fair focusing on new directions. New living spaces are also in the works for the site.
