Nina's House is a relatively new fixture on the South Beach scene. This up-and-coming lounge replaces the old 1930's House cocktail bar, and so far it's being touted as a hidden gem. The poolside hot spot is located inside the Confidante Hotel, and features a short list of fruit-based drinks: The Globetrotter (St. Germain's and Death's Door Gin with watermelon, basil, and ginger), the Seahorse (El Tesoro platinum tequila mixed with strawberry, mango, rosemary, lemongrass, and maraschino cherry), and of course, the Spicy Nina (made with Cana Brava rum, pineapple, honey crisp apple, cilantro, and jalapeno). There are also beers that are modestly prices for the area ($6 domestic and $7 for imports), plus wine, champagne, and light bites for when you're feeling peckish (3 types of tacos, chips and salsa, and good ol' guac for starters). Nina's has something of a boho-chic vibe--think Anthropologie catalog meets Miami's young professionals crowd. Relax poolside, have a cozy chat on that couches inside, enjoy the vintage views, or simply see where the night (and a few drinks) take you.
