Naples' best spas conspire with a worry free, seamless experience at its hotels and resorts throughout the region - from Bonita Springs south to Naples and Marco Island. In addition to the big names in spa luxury such as Naples Grande Beach Resort and The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, you will find boutique properties with intimate spas. Take the Spa on Fifth at Inn of Fifth for example. This list tours the best of the Naples area resort spas, most of which are fully open to the public. They accelerate - in a totally kick back, serene, Zen way - your route to relaxation. They are not merely places that rub you and wrap you and make you look and feel beautiful, they go for the bigger picture of wellness and mind and body connection. These are world class spas we are talking about, offering all the services and amenities: massage, facials, salon services, whirlpool baths, saunas and steam rooms, rain showers, fitness centers and private or communal yoga instruction.

Esterra Spa is a small, boutique facility at Bellasera Hotel that does an excellent job of providing much of the same services that the big resort spas do. It has a surprisingly extensive menu of massages including Swedish, neuromuscular, hot bamboo, myofacial trigger point therapy, Thai yoga massage, reflexology and couples massage. Likewise, its pedicure menu gives you a number of options from basic to the Paradise Pedicure with a ritual cleansing, leg massage and warm butter foot wrap. Facials address different problems such as sunburn, uneven tone, aging and stress. The spa is located on the second floor above the resort's pool and fountain.

Recommended for Spas because: Esterra Spa has three other resort locations in Southwest Florida and is held in high regard.

Chelle's expert tip: The Esterra signature massage starts with a back scrub and ends with a customized aromatherapy massage.

The tiny spa does extensive facial treatments such as microdermabrasion and collagen induction therapy. Other body treatments include a milk and honey body wrap with hydrotherapy shower, a deep detox treatment and an exotic Mediterranean wrap.
