2. Orlando Watersports Complex
Wakeboarding, kneeboarding and waterskiing, oh my! The Orlando Watersports Complex is a unique watersport park featuring two cable systems allowing for massive amounts of time on the water perfecting your skills. The beginner and intermediate cable park contains a competition-style, six-buoy slalom course that runs at speeds of 18 up to 36 mph, depending on your skill level. The advanced slider park contains eight tricky obstacles and runs at 20 mph. Not up to speed? Don’t worry, there is a professional coaching staff on-site.

If your child is an athlete or just enjoys being in the stands, take a trip out to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex located on Disney property. The Disney sports team organizes over 200 events a year, including cheerleading competitions, flag-football championships, Disney’s Soccer Showcase and the Special Olympics Florida Summer Games. The complex offers an entertaining and immersive sports experience for close to 2 million amateur athletes, coaches and spectators each year. Also, the volunteer program is a great way to teach kids about giving back and sometimes the volunteer is granted free admission to a Disney park.
