The newly expanded spa — Photo courtesy of The PeabodySituated in the heart of The Peabody Orlando, The Spa at The Peabody got a $450 million expansion in late 2011.  Spanning over two levels of the hotel’s new 32-story tower, the 22,000 square-foot Spa and Fitness Center features 12 treatment rooms, a new full-service hair and nail salon and an 8,000 square-foot fitness facility.

The new space features two outdoor balcony treatment options, two skincare rooms, four massage rooms, four body treatment rooms with Swiss showers and two couples’ suites, complete with a Kohler infinity tub.  The Spa menu offers facials and signature scented body treatments including the Mango Ginger Infusion body treatment, The Aroma Essence Massage, The Peabody Shaper and The Peabody Finesse Facial.  Along with its signature treatments, The Spa at The Peabody features a mango ginger body care line as well as a European skincare line and Jane Iredale makeup line, all available for purchase at the Spa.

In addition to the tranquility of the Spa, The Spa at The Peabody’s Salon and Fitness Center offers guests a total health and wellness experience.  The 8,000 square-foot Fitness Center features a group class studio, a 500 square-foot spinning room, over 50 pieces of state-of-the-art Cybex Eagle strength machines and more than 30 pieces of Cybex cardiovascular machines complete with built-in flat screen TVs and iPod compatibility. Not to mention, there are personal training opportunities and membership package offerings.

The Salon, which opened on February 1, offers a variety of full-service hair and nail treatments for all ages, including kids and teens.  Complete with luxurious Maestro® pedicure chairs, the Salon offers a Signature Mango Ginger Manicure and Pedicure, men’s treatments and makeup services.
