The newly re-imagined Star Tours: The Adventure Continues in 3-D, a Disney Hollywood Studio attraction, combines the magic of Disney and the power of the force. Based on the legendary Star Wars films, the adventure begins inside with C-3PO and R2-D2’s system checks and the DSA, Droid Security Agency (the Star Tour version of the TSA), scans all luggage and passengers. As you inch closer to the Star Tours Flight, you may notice small differences such as the DSA screen which is, in fact, a live picture of you waiting in line and, of course, the 3-D glasses which resemble hip sunglasses versus the traditional 3-D glasses.
Once inside and buckled in, guests venture to multiple Star Wars destinations where they interact with characters from throughout the Saga. And, it’s all in 3-D. With eye-popping 3-D digital filming, a dramatic musical score and motion simulator-based technology, guests are immersed in the Star Wars galaxy like never before. And in a new twist, guests may enjoy the attraction multiple times without ever experiencing the same adventure. More than 50 story combinations are possible. Whether it’s a battle with Darth Vader and his legion of stormtroopers or a plea from Princess Leia to help her save the Rebellion, guests will find themselves in the middle of the action – literally – in the 3-D, multi-sensory attraction.
