Winsome Windermere doesn't lack for boutiques but many choose to get their fashion fix at Ca Va Chic, where feminine frocks, blinged-out sandals, frayed denim shorts and unique items like one-of-a-kind vintage-print dresses are a regular and surprisingly reasonably priced occurrence. Shop-local fans will often find Central Florida designers amid the flourish of fashionable clothing and accessories and deep discounts on the clearance racks mean you may be able to fill your trunk with fun, new finds. This is a bourgeoning business, not quite a year old and building a rep for friendly service and cute couture. Pay them a visit if you've got a little fashion scratch to burn.
Recommended for Boutiques because: Ca Va Chic's cute frocks keep the femmes of tony Windermere cool (literally and figuratively).
A.D.'s expert tip: Like to shop local? Ca Va Chic likes to stock local. Be sure to ask if you stop in.
Fans of Pretty Rebellious think it's pretty awesome; head to Saint Cloud to see if you agree. From Bohemian flourishes to South Beach-ready club wear to rompers and maxis well-suited for everything from lunch with a friend to baby shower celebrations – you might just. Fancy bikinis and sexy lace tops share space with more demure fashion-forward selections and seriously cute accessories, which means there's likely something you'll want to try on and/or take home. Curious but feeling a little gun shy? Peruse their website before popping in – though we think you'll enjoy a walk 'round Saint Cloud's quaint district regardless.
Recommended for Boutiques because: Pretty Rebellious' customers think it's pretty awesome. Stop in on your Orlando visit and find out why.
A.D.'s expert tip: Think one store isn't worth the trip? Saint Cloud's Main Street district is adorable; historic buildings house all kinds of shops and cafes.
Think you have to limit your exploration to Orlando's trendiest in-town districts for top boutique shopping? Think again. Branded B calls the quaint and Disney-convenient town of Kissimmee home and its loyal customers keep coming back for club, casual and even some career wear, not to mention cute accessories, art and finds for the home – like candles or stationary, for example. Sidewalk racks often indicate sales (and what you'll find may well lure you inside for a longer perusal of their goods). Moms of teenage girls and young women; you and your daughters may both walk away with a find from this one.
Recommended for Boutiques because: Branded B's beautiful little shop is an ideal place for that one-of-a-kind vacation find to remember your trip to central Florida.
A.D.'s expert tip: Looking for a quick away from the Disney fray? Branded B's Kissimmee location may make that one last dream come true.
We are NOT endorsing rock-throwing but if one WERE to toss a stone whilst walking the tony cobbles of Winter Park's Park Avenue neighborhood, there's better-than-average odds you'd shatter the shop window of a fine-and-fancy boutique. One such venue is Tuni, so popular and rife with regulars that most don't even need to pair a visit with lunch or a cocktail at the myriad bistros and bars just steps from its funky racks. Haute couture for a hot night out and selections appropriate for a range of ages make this a contender that cuts through the fashionista demographic. Pop in for a peek at their dresses, tops, baubles and more.
Recommended for Boutiques because: No shop-centric trip to the Orlando metro is complete without a visit to Park Ave. Tuni is one of the reasons why.
A.D.'s expert tip: Tuni is located on Park Avenue which offers street, side road and garage parking.
With wares we'd call both classy and cute, Enchanted cashes the check its name writes with aplomb â" dressing divas of all ages (that's right, ladies; much of the beautiful inventory here is suitable for women â" not just girls) and all from a quaint Market Street location in the town of Celebration. Colorful patterns, trendy styles â" dresses and tops, shoes and accessories and more; it's easy pickings for a vacation-loosened wallet, but you'll walk away with a memorable take-away you can wear again and again. Don't feel like taking it on the plane with you? Fear not: they ship â" so shop away!
Recommended for Boutiques because: With fashion that appeals to a broad demographic, Enchanted offers discriminating shoppers a bit of "magic" outside the boundaries of Walt Disney World.
A.D.'s expert tip: Celebration is another charming (and Disney-borne!) town rife for exploration. Make Enchanted a part of your tour.
Whether you're too spellbound by your "magic" vacation to break free of Walt Disney World's gravity, a fashion maven looking to add some Disney touches to your already-chic wardrobe or a full-on Mouse-O-Phile on the hunt for finds more fashion-forward than your average tee or ballcap, Trend-D is likely to satisfy. This beautiful shop is still open amid Downtown Disney's transformation into Disney Springs and here you'll find a more upscale range of items emblazoned with all manner of the brand's famous faces and logos – that includes sweaters, hats, shoes, even famous-name jewelry such as Alex and Ani. Tren-D is appropriate for funky teens as Disney-charmed grandmothers.
Recommended for Boutiques because: Not all the Disney fashion comes in the form of a beach-ready tank or bbq-friendly tee. Tren-D takes the genre up a notch.
A.D.'s expert tip: Parking is still a little crazy with construction still going on. Consider taking a shuttle in from across the way and leave a bit of travel time to do so.
Chic and reasonable, feminine and funky, Modern Grace has been delighting its regulars since 1994 and creating new ones on the reg ever since. Located in the quaint, walkable confines of College Park a great overall area for shopping reconnaissance of all stripes, ladies looking for a small, interesting buy or a special night's ensemble have great odds of scoring either or both. With a range of styles as varied as Vera Bradley to Betsey Johnson there's a good chance you'll find something you like regardless of your personal style. Blouses, dresses, handmade jewelry from local craftspeople are among the items you'll find.
Recommended for Boutiques because: Make Modern Grace a stop on your College Park tour. Come hungry; there are some great restaurants in easy walking distance.
A.D.'s expert tip: Modern Grace boutique carries limited quantities of each item, so if you see something you like: snatch it!
Frank is an eclectic, clean-lined shop that begs exploration. Beautiful clothing and accessories (the bags! the jewelry!), wonderful gifts (books! bath items! cards! children's items!) and home goods (pillows! art! tableware!) abound. You're bound to find a zillion things for friends, family, loved ones and may well be tempted to treat yourself to a little something, too. This is the kind of store where wonderful things you weren't even looking for manage to find you and become cherished pieces in your collection, whichever collection that might be. At the very least, it's absolutely worth a look-see. What a fun place to browse!
Recommended for Boutiques because: Great little shop that's fabulous for treating yourself, but truly exceptional when you're looking for a unique gift for someone special.
A.D.'s expert tip: Come on a day when you have time to add Frank to a morning, afternoon or full day of Winter Park exploration.
Lake Mary isn't out of the fashion loop AT ALL. In fact, Sophie & Trey enjoys regular visits from folks who live downtown; they trek out just to see what's new and funky. Generally speaking, it's everything. Dresses, tops, swimwear – everything from casual to date night to office ready – can be found, especially if you hit them on a freshly stocked day. That said, Sophie & Trey is another shop whose wares can also be found online; always a bonus. Prices here are mad-reasonable when set side-to-side with most boutiques, and who doesn't love affordability?! With this many dresses under $50 (some under $30!) you can afford to get a little crazy.
Recommended for Boutiques because: Great fashion, great service, great prices. Lake Mary's Sophie & Trey hits the boutique trifecta.
A.D.'s expert tip: Make it fashion times three. Since your coming to Lake Mary, be sure to check out Sophie & Trey's sister stores: Tria and 4th & Ocean.
While it is never not lovely to wander the shaded sidewalks of Thornton Park – perhaps stopping at a restaurant for a bite or a bottle of wine – sometimes a shop will beckon you in for wallet exercise you won't be able to track on your FitBit. Lauren Nicole's wares are cute with a capital C – from casual, hit-the-farmer's-market fare to crazy-night-out-at-the-club dresses. One of the best things about Lauren Nicole is their website, which enables you to shop from home in your PJs! Online deals can be amazing – and sizes don't run out nearly as fast as in a boutique setting.
Recommended for Boutiques because: Well located and well stocked, Lauren Nicole offers boutique chic in the lovely downtown confines of Thornton Park.
A.D.'s expert tip: Visit the store – sure! – but be sure to check out extra online inventory for great, fashion-forward buys.
