Lombardi's, before it is a seafood cafe, is a third-gen, retail/wholesale seafood company, so if you're wondering how fresh the catch is, the answer is VERY. You'll practically be staring into its glassy, iced eyes before you eat it. What's on the menu? A host of seafood baskets including Florida goodies like grouper, and out-of-state imports such as Viking salmon. The vibe is uber casual - you're dining in a fish market, after all - but the food, from cioppino to lobster roll. fish tacos to a whole, fried snapper, is bragworthy. The best part is that once you get that seafood mojo workin', you can sidle up to the counter and peruse the stock for a home-cooked feast. Lombardi's is good no matter when, but it's this final point that makes me want to recommend them for lunch, not dinner!

- Seafood: "Don't eat the Grouper Reuben. Not because it's not good, because you don't need to put all that on a grouper sandwich. You're in a fish market. Taste the FISH."
- Best for Seafood Because: It doesn't get fresher than the fresh catch at Lombardi's. You can even pick something out of the case for them to cook.
