The summer concert series is in full swing at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. The music venue recently hosted a string of national touring shows playing to capacity crowds. The impressive acoustics and awesome downtown skyline help to enhance an evening completed by hearing your favorite songs live. If you're planning a trip to the area during the late summer, you're in luck, as the schedule of performers gets better and better as the weather heats up.

For summer 2014, the musical lineup yet to come to Cruzan includes the following musical artists:
Brad Paisley
On Saturday, Aug. 16, Brad Paisley comes to town. This is an opportunity to see a top country act at an affordable price. Tailgating for country shows at the Cruzan is a great time, it's and not to be missed if you are in the area. Seats under the pavilion can still be had.
OneRepublic
On Sunday, Aug. 17, Cruzan welcomes OneRepublic (not to be confused with One Direction). The pop rock band from Colorado will play from their three album catalog, sprinkling in new tracks from recent release Native.
Lil Wayne and Drake
After the Labor Day Weekend, Lil Wayne and Drake come to town on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Prepare for "Weezy" and "Drizzy" to test each other's wits and freestyle abilities during this tour, their first together. Some are projecting the entire show to be a "rap battle royale."
Kings of Leon
The Tennessee-based rock band Kings of Leon come to town on Saturday, Sept. 6. The band has been playing songs off their new record Mechanical Bull and have incorporated some cool laser lights into their show.

Jeff Beck and ZZ Top
If you have been waiting for some classic rock, Jeff Beck and long-haired brethren ZZ Top strap on their guitars on Sept. 9. Concert-goers will get full sets from each, with a collaborative effort to close out the night. Beck and ZZ Top have some history, having performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame previously. Chemistry should be tight.
Rascal Flatts and Sheryl Crow
Rascal Flatts and Sheryl Crow team up on Sept. 13. Also doing a set will be up-and-comer Gloriana. This has proven to be an interesting concert match, with both Crow and Flatts able to pack the house on their own, but with different aged fans.
Tom Petty and Steve Winwood
Lastly, on Sept. 20, Tom Petty comes home to Florida and brings Steve Winwood along with him (Of course, the Heartbreakers will be there, too.). Jam out to hits like "Free Falling," "Learning to Fly" and more.
Tickets are still available through Live Nation for all of the above Cruzan Amphitheatre shows, though One Direction could sell out at any time. Compare your travel schedule with the above concert list to determine which show or shows you could make.
Seeing a show at the Cruzan Amphitheatre is the perfect complement to any West Palm Beach area vacation.
