Since the Palm Beach Outlets opened earlier in 2014, the Palm Beach Lakes area of West Palm Beach has experienced a rebirth of sorts. People have flooded the area off I-95 exit 71 to explore the hundreds of shops the new outlet mall has to offer. The spender's mecca continues to offer further shopping options with the October opening of the 300,000-square-foot Marketplace at the Outlets.
Marketplace at the Outlets will bring "big box" type of retailers to the area. Stores like Pier 1 Imports; Bed, Bath & Beyond; Nordstrom Rack; and T.J. Maxx will open sporadically throughout the fall.

Palm Beach County locals and travelers alike will have the opportunity to one-stop-shop at the massive complex. You could legitimately purchase an entire wardrobe – from shoes to top hats to accessories – all within a couple hours at the outlets.
It seems out of all the store openings, much of the hoopla is surrounding the opening of Nordstrom Rack. The sibling retailer of high-end store Nordstrom will offer deep discounts on everything from Fossil watches to designer dresses and shoes. Nordstrom Rack operates the shopping site Hautelook, so the great deals you see on their page will show up in stores as well.
Bookending the marketplace on one end will be a Whole Foods, something the area has been needing for awhile. Outlet shoppers who prefer not to eat at the fast food-type places nestled within the shopping center can walk over to the grocer for freshly prepared meals.
The inside will feature a comfortable, climate-controlled cafeteria, where shoppers can get out of the sun, sip coffee and reflect on purchases made and passed on.
All in all, Marketplace at the Outlets will feature 20 new stores. Shops unmentioned above include Ulta Beauty, PetSmart, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, Old Navy and Sports Authority.
The Palm Beach Outlets itself has surpassed every sales goal imaginable since opening up in the spring of 2014. Shops like Kenneth Cole, Saks Off Fifth and Steve Madden have shoppers glowing with excitement over the great bargains they're finding. The parking lots are always filled to the brim, with people carrying bags on top of bags off the property.
The mall regularly holds markets, where you can purchase food items from local vendors as well as enjoy live music. The mall was built specially to include shade protection; so while the shops are open-air, you're mostly protected from the hot Florida sun.
Come down to the outlets today to see what all the hubbub is about!
