The Northwood Village neighborhood of West Palm Beach has been emerging as a cultural hotspot for some time. Heading north up Flagler, you'll reach an area between 23rd and 24th Streets that's bursting with an eclectic mix of restaurants and galleries.
One of the stalwarts of this dining scene is Table 427. Table 427's Chef Roberto Villegas has had his hand in the restaurant game for quite some time. He opened this Northwood gem in 2013, and he's been dazzling guests ever since.
This summer, he's decided to veer from the rigidity of a traditional menu, offering up what is known as the Back to Our Roots: No-Menu Experience.

The No-Menu Experience allows patrons to experience eats across five servings, all handpicked and cooked up daily by the chef, with help from his wife Maria on a few items (most notably, the delectable passion fruit mousse).
The Mexican food heritage that Roberto and Maria share finds its way into the offerings, along with local, seasonal flavors and tastes that help complete the evolving servings.
Guests can expect a small appetizer, salad, two entrees and a dessert for only $45 per person. A recent experience included octopus, short rib and a cactus salad – just to give you an idea of what food types make the cut on a day-to-day basis.
With all the care and attention that goes into each dish, this truly is a deal relative to what you would find across the Intracoastal and even in the heart of downtown West Palm.
Table 427 has already made its way onto 10Best's top romantic West Palm Beach restaurants, and for good reason. The intimate front room, complete with dim lighting, a classic style bar and visually stunning artwork across the walls has guests relaxed and comfortable upon entering.
Conversations flow easily here, as there's no loud music piping in.
A bottle of wine, which the attentive and knowledgeable service staff can help you pair with your mystery menu experience, only helps further cement the romantic ambiance.
A trip to Northwood Village needs to be atop every vacationer to West Palm Beach's list of places to check out. For those looking for an intimate night out on the town, look no further than Table 427.
The No-Menu Experience, headed up by the Villegas family, will leave you and your date in complete satisfaction. Sample new foods, flavors and a generally new approach to food preparation.
