10 Best Things to See and Do near Malabar, Florida

When visiting the Space Coast in Florida, an off-the-busy-path community to visit is the small town of Malabar, which is part of the Palm Bay-Melbourne-Titusville area.

Malabar is a great home base, because of its easy access to some of Brevard County's top attractions. Although you won't find a ton of exciting things to do directly in Malabar, adventure and entertainment is only a short drive away.

Palm Bay, Fla., is just north of Malabar, and it's home to the Palm Bay Aquatic Center, a family-friendly water park, another way to enjoy the warm Florida weather and water. In Palm Bay, you can also visit the Palm Bay Community Center, with indoor activities, group fitness classes and social events for people from children to seniors.

If you're a history buff, swing by the Veterans Memorial Park, where fishing, a boardwalk and a veterans memorial museum and garden all come together. Top off your educational afternoon with a visit to the Liberty Bell Museum, home to a full-sized replica of the famous Liberty Bell, and the Rossetter House Museum.

Get an adrenaline rush at the Andretti Thrill Park and entertain your kiddos at Fun Town. The Brevard Zoo is a must-see on any Space Coast vacation.
