See & Do
There is plenty to do in Cocoa Beach, Fla. The beach is the star here, and the waves are some of the best to surf in the state. Visitors can dine on the pier to live music, hit up the famous Ron Jon Surf Shop and enjoy the soft sand.
Eat
Cocoa Beach, Fla., has a wide assortment of restaurants, from BBQ to juice to authentic European fare to fresh seafood, of course. For that, try Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty.
One of the Space Coast's top restaurants, The Fat Snook, is a highlight here. Another popular restaurant is the French-inspired Cafe Margaux, featuring 400 different types of wine.
Party
The surest place to have a fun night out on the Space Coast, Fla., is in Cocoa Beach. Here, visitors can smoke stogies on the beach while listening to blues music, at the Beach Shack. Other great places to catch live music are Lou's Blues and Heidi's Jazz Club. The younger crowd can get pretty rowdy at Coconuts.
Stay
With Florida's weather and the closest beach to Orlando, it's hard to want to leave the sand. But after a busy day in Cocoa Beach, Fla., there are many great places to rest your head. The International Palms Resort is great for families. Or for more privacy, stay in the Beach Place Guesthouse.
Shop
As home to the famous Ron Jon Surf Shop, Cocoa Beach, Fla., is one of the Space Coast's most popular places to go shopping. But this beachside community offers much more.
Quirky Cocoa Village is the best place to score unique, locally made gifts and crafts. There are other surf shops here, too. Not to mention the shop-lined pier.
